The IV edition of the International Competition for Young Pianists “Il Pozzolino” will show something new this November: a new special prize, to assign to the best performer, in Category B, of pieces from “Pinocchio. Piccola Suite per Pianoforte” by M° Ettore Pozzoli. The winner will have the opportunity to play in a Recital at Villa Garzoni in Collodi offered by Carlo Collodi National Foundation.
To introduce such a special prize a musical show will be organized at L’Auditorium in Risorgimento Square 36 on Sunday 16th September at 9 PM.
“Pinocchio”, with the actress Amanda Sandrelli who tells the bizarre adventures of the famous puppet starting from the shark’s stomach. The atmospheres entrusted to the ensemble defines the characters of the famous tale, in an original soundtrack entrusted to the skilled hands of Augusto Vismara at the Violin and Violet, Fabio Battistelli at the Clarinet and Bass Clarinet, Neruda at the Piano and Prepared Piano.
The entrance will be free (until all places) with ticket to be retired on Thursday 13th September at Landriani Caponaghi Palace, Martiri della Libertà Square 1, from 9 AM to 6.30 PM or on Friday 14th from 9 AM to Midday and a half.
