Elogiato dalla critica in Europa e negli Stati Uniti per il suo lirismo, la sua virtuosità e l’intensità delle sue interpretazioni, il pianista Martin Labazevitch si è esibito in numerose sale da concerto e festival in Polonia, Ucraina, Finlandia, Germania, Austria, Italia, Spagna, Israele, Giappone, Corea del Sud, Perù e Stati Uniti. Nato in Polonia, il Sig. Labazevitch ha studiato presso il Conservatorio di Odessa in Ucraina e alla Manhattan School of Music di New York. Nel 2019 ha conseguito il titolo di Doctor of Musical Arts presso la Rome School of Music, Drama and Art a Washington D.C. Si è esibito come solista con importanti orchestre in Spagna, Polonia, Lituania, Giappone e Stati Uniti.

Riguardo al suo album di debutto con il Concerto di Chopin insieme alla Beethoven Academy Orchestra, ConcertoNet ha scritto: “…si astiene piacevolmente dal sovraccaricare l’Allegro vivace conclusivo di Chopin, offrendo una grandezza scintillante e una precisione eloquente che potrebbero persino competere con quella di Arthur Rubinstein.” Dopo il suo debutto alla Weill Recital Hall della Carnegie Hall, la rivista The Strad ha scritto: “…esuberante, sfaccettato, …coinvolgente dalla prima all’ultima nota.”

Tra gli eventi salienti delle stagioni recenti si annoverano: Zankel Hall alla Carnegie Hall di New York, Terrace Theater al Kennedy Center di Washington D.C., Damme Myra Hess Series a Chicago, Chopin Foundation a Miami, la Philharmonic Society di Lima, in Perù, e la Società Musicale di Varsavia, in Polonia.

Appassionato educatore, il Sig. Labazevitch condivide il suo amore per l’insegnamento con gli studenti della Levine School of Music di Washington D.C. È Direttore Artistico del Concorso Pianistico Chopin della Kosciuszko Foundation, il più antico concorso chopiniano degli Stati Uniti, e della Chopin Piano Academy di Washington D.C. Dal 2024 è fondatore e Direttore Artistico della Berkshire Piano Academy nel Massachusetts. Nel 2022 il Sig. Labazevitch ha co-fondato The Paderewski Academy, una pionieristica accademia pianistica ibrida con sede a Zurigo, in Svizzera.

Praised by critics in Europe and the United States for his lyricism, virtuosity and an intensity of performance, pianist Martin Labazevitch appeared in many concert halls and festivals in Poland, Ukraine, Finland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Peru and the United States. Born in Poland, Mr. Labazevitch studied at the Odessa Conservatory in Ukraine and at the Manhattan School of Music in New York. In 2019 he received Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Rome School of Music, Drama and Art in Washington D.C. He has been a soloist with leading orchestras in Spain, Poland, Lithuania, Japan, and the United States. An enthusiastic educator, Mr Labazevitch has been sharing his passion for teaching with students at the Levine School of Music in Washington D.C. He is the Artistic Director of the Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin Piano Competition, the oldest Chopin contest in the United States, and  Chopin Piano Academy in Washington D.C. Since 2024 he is the founder and the Artistic Director of the  Berkshire Piano Academy in Massachusetts.  In 2022 Mr Labazevitch co-founded The Paderewski Academy, a pioneer hybrid piano academy based in Zurich, Switzerland.
