This is the complete program of the International Piano Competition Ettore Pozzoli 2019 and all the events included in “Oltre il Pozzoli”.

 

Friday, 13th September at 9 p.m. – Seregno, L’Auditorium

Concert by Ramin Bahrami. On the sixtieth anniversary of the first edition of the International Piano Competition Ettore Pozzoli.

 

Saturday, 14th September at 6 p.m. – Seregno, Ezio Mariani Gallery

As part of OltreilPozzoli: opening of the exhibition “I grandi maestri di Brera della scultura. Premio Nazionale Città di Seregno”. Introduced by Dorian Cara, the exhibition features works by various artists including “MU 116” by Kengiro Azuma. The exhibition can be visited until the 1st October.

 

Saturday 14th September at 9.00 p.m. – Seregno L’Auditorium

Beethoven, Schubert and Pozzoli. EYE European Youth Ensemble Symphonic concert, Francesco Maltecca soloist, by Brianza Music Association.

 

Friday 20th September at 9.00 p.m. – Seregno L’Auditorium

Concert lesson traveling with Ettore Pozzoli by Ballerini College and Ettore Pozzoli Music School.

 

Saturday 21st September at 9 p.m. – Seregno L’Auditorium

As part of OltreilPozzoli and JAZZin Seregno, concert by Dino Rubino. Organized by the Paper Moon Jazz Club and Circolo San Giuseppe.

 

Sunday 22nd September at 9 p.m. – Seregno L’Auditorium

Antica Liuteria Sangineto proposes “The sound of Leonardo”, concert with instruments reproduced from the pictorial art of Renaissance masters.

 

Tuesday 24th September at 9 a.m. – Seregno L’Auditorium

“The power of music”. Teaching and music therapy. Experience compared. China / Italy / Switzerland. With the extraordinary presence of M° Dan Zhao-Yi and within the European project Young Inclusion.

 

Tuesday 24th September at 9 p.m. – Seregno L’Auditorium

Opening Ceremony of the 31st edition of the International Piano Competition Ettore Pozzoli. The accordion masters Giorgio Dellarole, Ezio Ghibaudo, Sergio Scappini and Paolo Vignani propose music by Ettore Pozzoli, revealing a lesser-known side of the composer.

 

Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th September 2019 – Seregno L’Auditorium

First round of the 31st edition of the International Piano Competition Ettore Pozzoli, with the performance of pieces by Chopin, Liszt and Ligeti.

 

Friday 27th and Saturday 28th September 2019 – Seregno L’Auditorium

Second round of the 31st edition of the International Piano Competition Ettore Pozzoli, with performance of pieces by Haydn, Mozart, Clementi, Beethoven and Pozzoli.

 

Sunday 29th September 2019 – Seregno L’Auditorium

Third round of the 31st edition of the International Piano Competition Ettore Pozzoli. The round is divided into two parts. In the first one, the execution of chamber music pieces by Haydn and Beethoven for piano, violin and cello. In the second part, solo piano performances with romantic twentieth-century pieces and a piece chosen by “Riflessi del Mare” by Ettore Pozzoli,

 

Tuesday 1st October 2019 – Seregno Teatro San Rocco

Fourth round 31st edition of the International Piano Competition Ettore Pozzoli with Antonio Vivaldi Orchestra. The program includes the performance of a piece chosen by candidates from works by Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Brahms, Grieg, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov.
